The artist Yadegar Asisi celebrates the Baroque city life of Dresden on a breathtaking panoramic area of 105 x 27 meters in "Dresden - Myth of the Baroque Residence City". You will see in detail the magnificient world of the Saxon capital in the time of 1695 and 1760 in scale 1: 1. Your experience is intense thanks to the view from a 15 meters high visitor's platform. Discover famous personalities, such as Johann Sebastian Bach or Countess Cosel in the picture, dive into a colorful accompanying exhibition and learn more about the asisi panorama world in the making-of-film.
January 13, 2018 - April 22, 2018: „Dresden 1945 - tragedy and hope of a European city“
This panorama shows the city after the devastating bombing raids in February 1945. From the 15-meter-high visitor platform, you can see from the town hall tower over the city in ruins. In addition to the tragic Dresden embodies but also hope. The city is groundbreaking for her resurrection to the present and thus shows an irrepressible will to live. Structure, glory, destruction and reconstruction are discussed as an accompaniment to the panorama.
