The bicycle tour begins with a tour through the former working class district of Prenzlauer Berg, today consisting of luxurily renovated buildings originating in the late 19-th century boom. Then head on to Berlin- Mitte with attractions like the Museum Island, Brandenburg Gate, The Adlon Hotel and the City Castle. You learn about how 40 years of GDR shaped the image of the city and dive into an experience of the modern architecture of the new Berlin close to the government buildings.
Length of the tour: 12-16 km with 8-12 stops for sight explanations
