City tour of Dusseldorf’s highlights

This very entertaining walk begins at the Hofkirche St. Andreas and the Dominican Monastery and covers the long and interesting history of Dusseldorf. The journey to the Rhine promenade goes through the original city of Düsseldorf with the Lambertuskirche and Schlossturm. Also along the way, we will visit the birthplace of Heinrich Heine, the famous Schneider-Wibbel-Gasse and the historic town hall with Jan Wellem, the renowned philanderer and his secret meeting spot in "De Canon". Anna Maria de Medici, the "White Lady", Count Adolf von Berg, the Cartwheelers of Düsseldorf, Jörg Immendorf, Joseph Beuys and many other good and lesser well known people will feature along the way.
